Volunteers (Adult and Children) Needed for Spring Festival

I am contacting you to request your help with a very important task at the Parish Spring Festival.

The Spring Festival is the principal fundraiser for the Religious Education Program. For years the younger children of the Parish have volunteered at the Festival Meal Service. The children help clear the plates from the tables, allowing our guests to relax and visit with friends.

This is a very important job as it sets the atmosphere of hospitality and friendship. The task also emphasizes to the students the value of service.
We are looking for 36-48 volunteers to help in the course of the meal service. We are trying to have the list of volunteers put together by May 9th, so if you could check your calendars and get back with me as soon as possible, it would be appreciated.

We need 4 shifts of workers , 4 teams of workers per shift. We are also looking for a few adult volunteers, so if you want to volunteer while your child works that would be great! If older brothers and sisters want to help that would be great too.

The Festival is always a great testament to the cooperation of our Parishioners. Let’s keep that tradition in place and start sharing with our children the reward of being an active participant!

“Christ is Risen …”

“… He is Risen Indeed!”

This is an ancient Christian Easter greeting and response that has been translated in every language that the Gospel has been preached in.

We hope everyone has a blessed and happy Easter as we commemorate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ!
